Progressive Scripture Study

CA House's Progressive Scripture Study explores the loving and liberating messages that the Bible has for our lives and our society today. This study is fun, friendly, and truly open to all students. We bring critical scholarship and contemporary sociopolitical interpretations to bear on the texts to discover its liberating meanings. Questions and criticism are highly welcome.

Recent topics have included: The Gospel of Thomas, Queer Readings of the Bible, and the Bible and Ecology. We are always eager to tailor this study to the questions students are facing now.
